What is MTS format?
The MTS format is more commonly know as AVCHD. It is a high definition video format found on most high definition camcorders by Sony, Panasonic, and other HD camcorder manufacturers. The MTS format based on the H.264/AVC codec and supports 720p and 1080i HD video formats.
How to open MTS file? How to edit the MTS footage?
It could be troublesome when you try to play or edit the AVCHD MTS video. Most media players refuse to load the MTS format, as for the editing software, few of them work well with the AVCHD footage.
